Cherished Memories

Many people, including myself agree that high school is one of life’s craziest and most unforgettable chapters. It is where one would begin to cross the boundary between childhood and adulthood, and where many phases of learning occur, not only in school but in real life as well.

I spent four years in high school, and I can say that each year has its own story to tell, and is special in their own ways. But one year stood out from all of them the sophomore (second) year. It all started when I entered my assigned class. At first I thought it was nothing really special, just a set of new classmates and new adviser. It was during that time we are divided into two groups in our section, the SAMPA and the GUITA simply known as the Wilab and the Bhoxqz. I remember how we had to unite last January 17, 2013, that day I was happy because we bring together into one group the Vibes Gang. Until now we had together and stay strong as a family to go through those hard moments.

Those four years of my life defined most of what I am and will be, and many strong memories, may it be happy or not, that I can still recall as clear as day this very moment. But believe it or not, we still get together, hang out and are still in touch with each other. Not only with my own gang, but so with the rest of the class. Our Facebook group has been established and keeps the “Vibes Gang” alive. We may not be the best class in our school that year, but patently we were the best class that one could ever have.

The memories of the short time we spent together in school will always be a special part in the lives of everyone in that favorite class of mine. I am sure that everyone misses those days as well. If I were given the chance to go back in a specific period of my past, the sophomore year will always be my definite answer. And if I get to go back there myself, I won’t be even changing anything.

To Vibes Gang group – you are the best classmates in the world. Happy Graduation!
